Summary

Amazon has finally confirmed the 2022 dates for its biggest shopping event of the year, Prime Day Australia, which will kick off on Tuesday, July 12.
Despite its slightly misleading name, the annual "Prime Day" takes place over two days, delivering huge savings to Amazon Prime members on a range of products.
When is Prime Day 2022 in Australia?
This year, Prime Day will kick off at 12 a.m. AEST on July 12, and run Down Under for a full 48 hours, until 11:59 p.m. AEST on July 13. However, Australians will have access to deals from the UK and the US on Amazon.com.au and Amazon Global Store until the conclusion of the event in the US, meaning the event functionally ends at 5 p.m. AEST on Thursday, July 14.
This year, bargain hunters can expect some pretty hefty savings on more than 100,000 products on the Amazon platform. We're hoping to see big deals on brands including Apple, Bose, Garmin, Lenovo, Nintendo, Oculus, Samsung, and more. This makes Prime Day an ideal time to pick up big-ticket items you've been gearing up for all year, such as noise-cancelling headphones, TVs and speakers.

The event is only available to Amazon Prime members, and subscriptions starts at AUD$6.99 per month. However, if you're new to Amazon and just want to check out Prime Day, you can get a 30-day free trial right here. Happy hunting!
