Summary
This years’ VR Awards returns as a red carpet black-tie event alongside a “World Hop Experience” on VR headsets.
The Academy of International Extended Reality (AIXR) has announced the finalists for the fifth International VR Awards, an international ceremony honoring incredible milestones made within the VR industry in categories such as hardware, gaming, film, social VR, marketing, and more. Think of it as the Oscars of VR!
This year, the event returns to its roots with a physical red carpet black-tie event that will take place on November 11th in Central London’s prestigious 8 Northumberland Avenue. Over 300 international VR luminaries from some of the most influential backgrounds in the industry will be in attendance as they celebrate the biggest accomplishments in VR.
Can’t get to London? No problem. The ceremony can also be experienced through AIXR’s “World Hop Experience”, allowing you to join the black-tie event from a web browser, phone, and of course, a VR headset. We are celebrating VR after all!
