Apple announced its highly anticipated AR headset, the Vision Pro, on Monday at WWDC 2023, the company's annual showcase for developers.

It was the centerpiece of the event and highly touted by Apple. Mashable's Stan Schroeder covered the launch in depth, but the headset features no controllers and a see-through display that promises to put a digital landscape over the real world. It's an entirely new kind of product from Apple and, though reviewers haven't gotten their hands on it yet, it could mark the beginning of a new reality for spatial computing.
Anyway, the internet mostly joked about the battery cord that attaches to the headset. (You carry the external battery pack.)

The headset will also cost a whopping $3,499 when it goes on sale next year, which was the subject of many comments online.
