Summary

If you liked the last week’s worth of virtual reality (VR) releases just wait until you see what’s coming in the next seven days. There are some really big titles about to arrive which gamers have been waiting for for ages, so here’s VRFocus’ roundup of what’s to come.
The Walking Dead Onslaught – Survios
The next VR title from one of the biggest studios in the industry, Survios teamed up with AMC to create The Walking Dead Onslaught, featuring the characters from the TV show. Featuring an original storyline where you have to survive in the Alexandria Safe Zone, you’ll be able to arm yourself to the teeth to kill walkers whilst hunting supplies.

  • Launch date: 29th September
Until You Fall – Schell Games
Schell Games arcade-action sword fighting videogame Until You Fall has been in early access for PC VR headsets since August 2019. Next week will see it official launch as well as adding support for Oculus Quest and PlayStation VR. Become a Rune Knight and fight through monsters to save the day, the twist being that once you die you have to restart, with all the level procedurally generated.

Star Wars: Squadrons – Motive Studios/EA
This is the big one. Offering a single-player campaign where you switch between Rebal and Imperial pilots, the main feature of Star Wars: Squadrons is team-based 5v5 battles. Providing ships from either alliance, there will be multiple gameplay modes as well as customisation options to unlock along the way.
