Summary

Valve’s Steam Frame is finally here, after spending real time testing it, the reality is far from what most people are saying. At over $1,400 for the full kit, this is not the ultimate PCVR headset we were promised, at least not yet. From severe blurriness and baffling default display settings to absent comfort kits, locked bitrates, and software that clearly isn't finished, here is my raw, honest first impression after one week with the Steam Frame. We look at native standalone gaming, wireless streaming latency, FOV, the controllers, and the temporary fixes you need to make it usable.
