Summary

“What does wellbeing have to do with virtual reality? Isn’t it escapism?” I’ve been asked questions like this before, working with mindfulness and VR. Sometimes, my answers involve some sort of invitation, like “You have to just experience it yourself to find out.” It’s decidedly not escapism—in my view, it brings you closer to yourself than any other medium or environment.
