Summary

Head on over to the Oculus Quest coming soon page on the Oculus Store and you’ll see a growing selection of titles awaiting their release. The latest to feature in MiroWin’s first-person shooter (FPS) Guns’n’Stories: Bulletproof VR, ported over from its PC cousin which launched back in 2018.
For those who love their cowboy boots and hats, Guns’n’Stories: Bulletproof VR is set in the Wild West, well themed on it at least. Like the shootouts you see in every western, the gameplay is all about being quick on the draw and killing loads of bad guys with your two six-shooters.
Offering a story campaign where an old cowboy tells his grandson tales about dashing skirmishes with bandits during his youth, these stories are somewhat embellished. Like the fact that you don’t merely have access to a couple of pistols but a wide-ranging arsenal, from throwing weapons to futuristic firearms. Guns’n’Stories: Bulletproof VR has a sense of humour throughout, so players will come across steampunk style enemies, flying drones and cowboys riding segways to name just a few.
Gameplay is your standard wave-shooter style, you may not be able to wander around but you can duck behind cover and use the environment to your advantage. If you can’t be bothered to evade incoming bullets then you can always shoot them out the air.
MiroWin has scheduled Guns’n’Stories: Bulletproof VR for release on Oculus Quest’s dedicated store for 2nd April 2020. Over on Steam, the videogame has a downloadable demo so for those with a suitable PC and an Oculus Link compatible cable you can always give it a try first.
There are a number of titles coming to Oculus Quest in the coming days including Down the Rabbit Hole, The Room VR: A Dark Matter, B-Team and Lies Beneath. VRFocus will continue its coverage of the latest Oculus Quest experiences, reporting back with further updates.
