After previously only being available natively on Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and HTC Vive platforms, it looks as though Enhance Games’ Tetris Effect is finally going to be coming to the Oculus Quest platform soon.

Recently on the Oculus Store, a webpage stating that Tetris Effect would soon be coming to the Quest platform appeared. The product listing didn’t specify a release date for the title, but it did have a new trailer front and center which stated the game was “available now” at its conclusion.

However, it seems as though the store’s page went live a bit too soon, as Enhance Games has yet to formally reveal that Tetris Effect is coming to Oculus Quest. So if you’re looking to run and buy the game right now for your own Quest device, you’ll be out of luck for the moment. Furthermore, the store page for Tetris Effect on Oculus Quest has been taken down, seeming to verify that it went live just a tad bit earlier than it should have.

You can see a screenshot of the product listing for Tetris Effect on Quest when the page was still live right here:

Now, you might be wondering, “What the heck does Tetris Effect have to do with virtual reality fitness?” Well, fitness is more than just about your physical health, but your mental health, too. And when it comes to upkeeping your mental health, there is perhaps no better VR game out there than Tetris Effect.

Aimed as a meditative version of the classic Tetris experience, Effect places you in a variety of different all-encompassing environments that boast trippy visuals and calming music. With nothing to do in these environments other than, well, play Tetris, the game quickly becomes quite hypnotic and allows everything around you other than the Tetris board itself to fall away.

Additionally, there are a variety of added game modes in Tetris Effect that encourage a more relaxed experience. Some of these allow you to play the game at your own pace without fear of losing, while others place you in specific environments that are meant to calm you down.

Not to mention, the game’s campaign mode actually features a well put together theme of togetherness that is actually quite endearing. It’s strange to think that there’s a Tetris game out there that has a solid story mode, but that’s presently found here in Effect.

Personally speaking, Tetris Effect is one of my favorite VR titles of the past few years and I cannot recommend it enough. Don’t believe me? Well, the game has been the recipient of numerous awards since originally releasing back in 2018. If you’re looking for something to play to help you wind down at the end of a long day, there really is no better option for my own money.

And if you haven’t seen Tetris Effect in action before, you can check out a trailer for the game below. Keep an eye out in the coming days as I would imagine a Quest launch date for Tetris Effect should be unveiled soon enough.
