The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners

The latest game in the always-growing The Walking Dead universe is also one of the most impressive. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners was built from the ground-up for VR. Set in New Orleans, you must investigate a mystery in the city while avoiding zombies and humans alike. The game features numerous weapons, including firearms and bows, as well as melee combat. You’ll need every tool at your disposal to avoid getting bitten by the undead and risk putting your friends at risk.

Fitness Potential

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners makes use of physics-based weapons. This means that if you pick up a melee weapon, you’ll swing it like you would in real life to damage enemies. You’ll also be able to rip blades out of walkers after hitting them. The game features the ability to scale your environment, and you can hold off zombies with one hand while bashing them with a bottle in the other.

Kung Fu All-Star VR

Want to prevent you’re a kung fu master? In King Fu All-Star VR, you’ll fight against waves of enemies with a pair of virtual nunchucks. The game is physics-based, and there is a boss fight that will put your skills to the test. The game is quite short, making its low price appropriate, but it’s replayable and more content is planned for the future. The developer also encourages feedback to help make it even better.

Fitness Potential

You’ll get a great workout while playing Kung Fu All-Star VR, provided you are playing more than once. The entire time you play, you’ll be swinging your arms around as if you are holding nunchucks. If you’ve swung nunchucks in real life, you know the process can get tiring. You’ll have to do it quickly, too, as the enemies won’t wait for you to take a breather.

Failspace

Fancy yourself a problem-solver? You can put that claim to the test in Failspace, and bring your friends along for the fun. The game takes place on a spaceship that is constantly on the verge of breaking down. You must rush around and fix the problems that come up, such as putting out a fire and restocking supplies. You’ll need to work in perfect harmony with your friends in order to succeed.

Fitness Potential

Everything you do in Failspace makes use of the tracked motion controllers. This includes quickly slamming levels and switches, throwing fire extinguishers back and forth, and using tools in your environment. You won’t have a second to breath, so you’ll have to keep up the pace for the entire time you’re playing the game. Once you’ve been playing for a while, you should start finding the proper pace and be able to go on without messing up.
