Widely seen as one of the best VR games of the year, A Fisherman’s Tale is coming to Oculus Quest 27 November.
According to the developer, A Fisherman’s Tale is a unique, singleplayer co-op game. Players work with infinite, ever smaller and bigger replications of themselves to solve puzzles and find their way out of a world where physics is utterly broken.
The critically acclaimed title has been nominated for and took home several awards and most recently was crowned VR Game Of The Year at The VR Awards earlier this week. As it deserves to be; many websites agree that it is worth it.
“We have been amazed by the power of the Quest and we are happy to share that we did not have to make any compromises bringing A Fisherman’s Tale to the platform,” says InnerspaceVR Creative Director Balthazar Auxietre. “From the start, we knew the accessibility of the Quest would be a great fit for the game as it allows any player – VR veterans to newcomers – to jump in anywhere and at any time, turn their surroundings upside down and inside out, and solve its all-encompassing puzzles with untethered ease.”
Personally, I look forward to trying out the game myself very soon. While sacrificing some fidelity, it will gain from the massive retention of the audience.
