Summary

Pablo Picasso once noted that “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” SuperWorld subscribes to this notion whole-heartedly, which is one of the reasons we’ve been building relationships with some of the most talented and innovative artists involved in digital and cryptoart, design, architecture, music, fashion and more.
Creativity takes many forms (including bread hands).
The growing list of SuperWorld Artists-in-Residence includes a range of talent, from 2-time Grammy Award winning producer !llmind and Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroeder, street artists Graffiti Kings to cryptoart pioneers Alotta Money ROBNESS, CryptoPom, and Patrick Amadon along with other established names in NFT and digital art like Krista Kim, Marjan Moghaddam, Angie Taylor, Vesa Kivinin and more.
As any creative knows, making art is one thing, while marketing it is another. SuperWorld is opposed to the stringent, gatekeeping paradigm the mainstream “art world” has historically imposed on artists, which is why promoting both up-and-coming and established artists on the SuperWorld platform is of paramount importance. There are three levels of achievement for artists and creatives in SuperWorld.

  • Artist-in-Residence — The SuperWorld Artist-in-Residence (AiR) program gives artists an opportunity to create in a unique space using AR, and to have their vision showcased and promoted on the SuperWorld platform. AiRs pursue work in various mediums (digital art / music / animation/ 3D, etc.) to further their creative development, and are given access to our creative and marketing teams who will assist with project scaling, presentation, and implementation.

For example, for his flagship SuperWorld project, Artist-in-Residence Vesa Kivinin worked in collaboration with the SuperWorld animation and 3D modeling teams to create an art gallery in the ancient Egyptian temple of Luxor. The 3D rendering of the site will include animation and a VR portal, in which both visitors to the Luxor site itself along with anyone on the SuperWorld platform can experience a groundbreaking exhibition that unites the ancient with the modern.
