Summary

Black Friday is here soon, which means the big companies are selling their VR headsets ahead of the holiday season.
From Facebook making deals with the Oculus Quest, To HTC lowering the price of their HTC VIVE Pro and VIVEPORT, there is a lot to consider ahead of Christmas.
Here are the best deals, straight from the publishers:
Oculus Black Friday deals
Facebook announced its new hardware bundle, which has a great deal for fans of Star Wars. All three episodes of Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series (worth £23.97) will be free with the purchase of an Oculus Quest headset between November 21 – January 31.
If you are interested in high-fidelity graphics, the Oculus Rift S has a deal where you get £50 off the device. This is a great option for those who want the very best experiences on their headset.
For those who want the cheapest possible VR experiences, the Oculus Go is also £50 less.
In terms of value, the Oculus Quest does not have a price cut, but still provides one of the best packages in the market.
  • Oculus Rift S: £349
  • Oculus Go 32GB: £149
  • Oculus Go 128GB: £199
  • Oculus Quest 64GB (with Vader Immortal): £399
  • Oculus Quest 128GB (with Vader Immortal): £499
HTC VIVE Black Friday deals
Meanwhile, HTC VIVE has a great deal going on with VIVEPORT, its subscription-based service.
Customers will be able to purchase a one-year membership of Viveport Infinity for £59.88 – a saving of 45%. Considering the number of full-priced titles available, this is a great deal.
Separately, if you are looking to get into virtual reality, deals include £300 off the VIVE Pro Starter Kit, or £200 off the VIVE Pro Full Kit, as well as £100 off the new VIVE Cosmos. These are great options for high-tier VR headsets. All these deals come with 12 months free of VIVEPORT.
The VIVE Cosmos brings the most value from HTC, as the latest iteration of its headsets. But for those with the money and only want the very best experiences, you cannot go wrong with the VIVE Pro Eye.
  • VIVE Cosmos: £599
  • VIVE Pro Full Kit: £1,099
  • VIVE Pro Starter Kit: £819
  • VIVE Pro VR headset: £599
  • VIVE Pro Eye: £1,513
Details on all the above deals can be found on the HTC VIVE website.

PlayStation VR (PSVR) Black Friday deals
While there are no deals so far for the VR system, the headset is part of a cheap bundle online. For £259, the pack comes with the headset as well as PlayStation VR Worlds.
But I would honestly hold back. Rumours abound that the PlayStation will update its system next year with a new VR headset with no cables. It may be best to wait for 2020 and see how it plays out.
What are the best Black Friday deals for VR?
Oculus provides the most value with the Oculus Go, with one of the cheapest gateways into small-scale VR. Though simplistic, it is still a fun and immersive headset, and great as a Christmas gift. And the discounts on the Oculus Rift S makes it a good time to get into high-fidelity VR.
But the Oculus Quest is still one of the best headsets to buy currently, with the ease of use and access. Vader Immortal sweetens the deal.
Otherwise, HTC provides some great deals on VIVEPORT. Having 12 months free with any hardware deal is fantastic for anyone who wants a lot of content immediately. But if you already have a headset, 45% off the subscription service is great as well.
As said previously, I would wait for next year for PlayStation VR. With a new headset on the way, it may be best to wait and see what PlayStation has up its sleeves.
