HTC VIVE’s new immersive VR glasses device, VIVE Flow, has a new software update with many key improvements to functionality and user experience.

Video playback has been completely revamped. VIVE Flow now supports a virtual curved widescreen for a truly immersive viewing experience akin to your own personal cinema. Maximum screen size has been increased from 240” to 300”, and users can now choose from three background brightness settings for distraction-free viewing.

We’ve also added a dedicated button to easily reset your window position, including size and rotation. Relax and unwind while reclining comfortably with VIVE Flow.

Phone support has also been expanded. VIVE Flow is now compatible with over 60 Android devices, including devices that run on Samsung’s Exynos platform.

In addition to the above, a wide variety of usability updates have been added as well. It’s easy to update – just turn on your VIVE Flow, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and you’ll automatically receive a prompt to download and update the system software.
